About Us

Boomers Restaurant originally opened in 1972 as a Tastee Freeze. It was purchased in 1986 by "Boomer" and Marianna Freeman and they renamed the business Boomers and made it more of a restaurant by adding pizza and other items to the menu and changing over from soft ice cream to hand dipped ice cream. After 20 successful years they decided it was time to retire and put the restaurant up for sale in 2006. I had only dreamed of owning my own restaurant and when Boomers became available, I immediately purchased the property. Last July, I had the restaurant undergo a complete renovation, changing the restaurant layout and introducing full service dining. A lot of the old favorites are still on the menu, but there are several new additions such as homemade potato chips, a lump crabcake, poutine, albacore tuna salad, made from scratch soups and more.

Boomers Restaurant has been completely renovated for your dining pleasure. Our seats, whether they are the chairs, booths or counter bar seats are soo comfortable! Come enjoy our clean pleasant environment while your food is cooked to order. All of our food is high quality AND our fried food is cooked in a zero trans fat oil!!

Boomers is a quick service restaurant were you can eat in or carry out or if you wish to be waited on, we offer full service dine in on the south facing side of the restaurant. Typical menu items include subs, pizza, fried chicken, burgers and hotdogs, seafood,sandwiches, salads and homemade soups. We also have 12 different flavors of ice cream and a huge selection of ice cream toppings.

Our mission is to provide our customers with great tasting, high quality food , and be served by a friendly staff in a pleasant clean atmosphere. Our meals and specials are home cooked nightly.
